There will be three exams: Two regular exams during the semester and a "re-exam" at the beginning of next summer semester. In order to get the credit points for the lecture, you have to pass two of these three exams.
If you pass the two regular exams, your grade will be calculated as the mean of the two exam grades. If you pass only one regular exam, your grade will be the mean of the grade of that exam and the grade you got in the re-exam. You can only take part in the re-exam if you passed exactly one regular exam.
In order to take part in an exam, you have to register for it. Registration starts 14 days and ends 7 days before the day of the exam. We will announce how to register at least 3 weeks before the exams in the lecture, here on the web pages, and via email.
